I'm ready for warmer weather, therefore, no more snow. But it is fun during the winter.

I've been getting a taste of warm weather this week. It actually hit 50F sometime this afternoon.

Also I've noticed I am slacking in school when warm weather is around. Its a good thing I have spring break next week.

Yes rocky, that could actually be it, 1 year for doctors, 1 minute for you to have a guess, hehe.

I never understood why some countries use Fahrenheit, some uses Celsius, and a select few uses Kelvin. Why not use 1 thing, then again, most of the world uses meters, and very few uses miles.

Also, just bought borderlands, and it's friggin awesome

welllllll....the usa uses Fahrenheit....we TRIED to change over to metric ...when I was in grade school...late '70's....didnt work. Most scientific stuff is in metric though. As Kelvin is also mostly only used for that (or for temps that are really really really REALLY cold).

There are still holdouts for the older systems---some dogs really dont want to learn new tricks. And we would have to change a sh*t load of signs, documents, etc so....it aint gonna happen anytime soon here. I learned to use metric more when I lived in japan and sometimes it was ok, other times bleh. (farenheit just has more degrees ...more intervals so is more useful sometimes).

no more snow please!

had my doctor appointment today, have to go back tomorrow to return the bathroom key (wasnt feeling very well and forgot to give it back ).....

made couscous with (sorry pwnd) seafood in it and lots of garlic, some onions and red peppers. yummy!!!

and azzer, I think your pain has a source and its not a phantom.....the doctors just need to stop looking up their own butts and actually do some work!

But metric is far far far far easier to use, and i can use use both, Celsius vs fahrenheit, it's easy enough, for intelligen people. But yeah, celsius is the "real" temp, fahrenheit is just so people can say "it's over a 100", which sounds like a lot.

ofc my pain isn't a phantom, then i would been having on and off pain, but sadly, it's not a phantom. hehe

phantom was only a term I was using---meaning that others dont believe its really there---I know you can feel it, now to just prove it to others so they can treat you for it.

and metric is only easier for you because that was what your were taught to begin with....like english is easier (ok maybe for some) for people who were born into an english speaking family--or who learned it at a very young age....now if you were to learn, say russian, now you would think it was hard, though russian kids who grew up with everyone speaking russian to them would say it was easy. Its all in the perspective of it. Most american kids learned farenheit and inches, yards, pounds ounces etc when they were growing up and think that metric is horrible, bad, hard even. (yes its all nice and even .....but when you tell people here you are 170cm tall they look at you like you are from another planet).....

I would dare say you could ask 100 americans (who arent in the scientific field--or have lived abroad) what 100F is in celcius and most would be unable to tell you without having to look up the conversion! and normal body temp---98.6F is what in celcius?????

as I said we TRIED to learn it back a few decades ago, and it didnt fly.

Chronic pain is real pain that might or might not have a physical source. Having lived with anxiety for many years I know that the body can throw pain at you that is not associated with any physical disease. That pain is no less real to the person experiencing it. On a different note 2 more days before we get hit with the deluge of rain, possibly 2 to 4 inches.

Metric is easier to use, had this discussion with the 8th grade class I novice in the other day... Don't have time to read all the post since I have to go to school innnnn 15 minutes and I still have to get changed into my dress clothes.

62F here today.

Oh and why the hell does life get so confusing sometimes?

Body temperature is 37 celsius.

I could do conversations in spanish, after 1 week, (had a 2 week vacation), nothing is really "hard", just have an open mind, and a lot will be easy.

MEtric system uses "10" as ehm, seomthing, which is far easier to use, Metric is based on 10, and Miles is based on a random number.

Well, i don't think my pain is psychological, beside my fear of all animals, my fear of water, and my fear of social situations, i'm quite normal.

In other news. There aren't really any. hehe

How can life be confusing pwnd?

Panic & Anxiety Disorders are not to be overlooked when dealing with pain. One of the symptoms of anxiety is Irritated Bowl Syndrome.

The more you things you learn, the more things to become confused about.
If you want a good laugh take a look at this site.

I've seen that site, I have had some good laughs at it and some where it was just to gross to look at...

As for the more you learn, the more you are confused, that is all too true... And girls, confusing things girls are...

actually isnt body temp 37.1? you need more smaller divisions. I mean a minor infection may only raise the body temp by .5F which wouldnt even show up on the celcius thermometer using nothing after the decimal, which is why we like the farenheit scale better for that (and even then we use one place after the decimal!)

and doing conversions in another language is not what I meant....learn to speak fluently something like russian or chinese or japanese and see how 'easy' you find it. (japanese kids think their language is not very hard to speak---its the stupid writing system they stole from chinese that mucks everything up).
What we learn during our formative years we find easy. I find farenheit much easier than celcius and I have used both quite extensively. I can tell you distances in miles much more quickly than I will in kilometers. And I can tell you my weight in pounds much faster than I can do the conversion to kilograms!

and yes as we age other psychological problems can interact with physical ones to make even new and worse problems! aint aging great?
(when I was a kid I had no problems flying, when I learned about aerodynamics et.al is when I started to get anxious about it).

Well, if you get 37.5 celsius, you still aren't sick, so it's still as easy as fahrenheit.

I just don't know why the whole can't just use 1 thing. would be way easier.

All the countries i've visited, so far after a week, i could talk in that language (not fluent ofcourse), but small talk, and understand it.

Well, my psychological problems are 200 times worse than my physical problems, but they're easier to hide.

The more i learn, the less i get confused ;O, and yes, women can't be understood by a man, ever. And i mean Ever.

Never ever ever.
